Since charted on 3rd December, 1997, the Lions Club of Sungai Buloh has been breaking Records, winning Awards, raising standards as well as touching and transforming more lives and bringing credit to the name of the Lions Club, locally and internationally. It has consistently maintained a reputation for being one of the most active clubs in Selangor and in District 308 B2, Malaysia.
Its track record spans across different age groups, races and religions. It includes having sponsored over 40 Cataract Operations for seniors, contributed thousands of Spectacles for children, donated 3 classrooms for 3 different Schools, ensured school bags and uniforms were available to all school students who needed them. Annually, without fail, it will be the Organizer of at least 2 Blood Donation Drives, with FREE Health Screening to the people of Sungai Buloh and its surrounding areas.
Periodic Visits to Hospitals, the Leprosy Centre, Orphanages and Old Folks Homes included the giving of Goodie Bags, Hampers and Ang Pows as well as bringing cheer and fun times to the poorest of the poor and the needy.
