Project: Spectacles Donations to the Needy Student

The Lions Club of Sungai Buloh continues its Mission To Improve The Eyesight of Malaysians and in the process, lay the foundations for a better, brighter future. This Mission that was started last November, took yet another bold step forward via the Donation of 55 Pairs of Multi Coated Quality Lens and New Spectacle Frames to needy students at SRJK(C) Sungai Buloh, on 19th January 2012 (Thursday). It is hoped that through such Projects, more and more Malaysians, especially youngsters will realize just how precious eyesight really is.

Project : Donation to the Poor Families 2012

Date : 8th January 2012 (Sunday)

Venue : Sungai Buloh Village
As everyone is busy preparing to celebrate the coming Chinese New Year 2012, the Lions Club of Sungai Buloh thought of the unfortunate inmates and poor families of Sungai Buloh Village and decided to bring cheer and happiness as well as ease their burdens. The Club donated various Essential Food Items, Mandarin Oranges and Angpows (Money Packets) to 15 families on 8th January 2012. It is a simple way to express our caring attitude and concern, and to make more and more people aware that these people are still an important part of society. All of them expressed their happiness and heartfelt gratitude for spicing up their Chinese New Year.
